new wheels

Piper got a new scooter and was just tickled pink...  It is the most sturdiest little thing, just perfect for a toddler/preschooler i.e.. someone who can't balance on a regular scooter.  Its a micro mini and can be found here.  Best part about it for her, at least, is that it's pink.

Here is a project I made for Bella Blvd that tells about her new scooter.  Check it out in more detail on the Bella Blvd Blog.

sketch challenge at Chic Tags

Morning!  Sunday Challenges are back on the Chic Tags blog.  Most Sundays a new challenge or sketch will be posted and a bunch of the Chic Tags designers will participate in the challenge with some ideas to get you started.  Make a layout and join us.  Link to the Chic Tags Sunday post for a chance to win some amazing Chic Tags products!

Ashley Horton is our fabulous sketch artist... and here is her first sketch:

I used Chic Tags' new Schoolhouse collection.  I love, love this line and can't wait to get my hands on more of it... It should be available by the end of the month.  And here is my take on the sketch....

New:

I replaced one of the photo spots on the sketch with a little envelope.  Inside the envelope is a picture of the names on the new class lists.  Every year we walk up to school on the Friday before it starts to check out the class list posting.  The kids learn who their teachers are and who will be in class with them.  Always an exciting day!

Thanks for checking out my layout.  I hope you join our challenge!

I made a couple of layouts for my introduction day that I will share with you here, but you can also stop by the Pretty Little Studio Blog to read more and to meet the rest of the team!  This first layout is made with the newest line Neapolitan.  The most perfect colors for summer, ice cream, beach and more.  So let's cut to the chase...

Ice Cream Tradition:

My next layout uses the Nature Walk collection.  I can't get enough of that woodgrain pattern!

princess tea mini album

Hello!  I have been MIA this week it seems!  With the long weekend, back to school and my baby girl's birthday, my blog seemed to get put on the back burner.  That is OK.  I am back today with a little mini album I made for Epiphany Crafts during our product swap week with Punky Sprouts.  The two companies have great products that really compliment each other!

I had a bunch of pictures that I had taken of my daughter at a Princess Tea Party put on by a local high school.  This fun Punky Sprouts album was a perfect fit!  I used Punky Sprouts parchment paper circles to make my flowers and topped them with Epiphany Crafts epoxies.   Click here for a few more details on this mini album.

Here are my inside pages:

I will be back soon with more of my creations!
