bella blvd goodies!

It's been a while since I've posted...  I've been busy getting a few projects finished up, which I will be posting here soon... In the meantime, I got some very happy mail early this week... A big box full of Bella Blvd papers and goodies!  They have now found a home in my scrapbook room and I can't wait to start using them.  Check back soon for some projects!

today... a jillibean soup layout

Here is a layout I made using a couple of Jillibean Soup lines.  I really like how the different paper lines can be mixed together... like the yellow wood grain on top of yellow dots.

I made a little clear pocket here and instead of adding confetti, this time I cut out some strawberries and stuck them in the window.

Lots of layers... and tiny bits of paper.

Thanks for stopping by...

Exciting News!!!

I've been bursting at the seams with this exciting news and now I can finally let the cat out of the bag!  I am SO thrilled to be a part of this amazing team of designers!  Announcing the 2012-2013 Bella Blvd  design team!  I can't wait to get started!

Here are a couple of Bella Blvd layouts I've recently made...

Surf's Up:

For one of my arrows I made a clear pocket and filled it with confetti.  I love the way the bright colors in these lines looks as confetti... I can see more of this coming in the future.

And I love to layer patterned papers, so here are some banners and stickers layered and stitched.

Reasons I {heart} Summer:

This layout has some random photos of our summer.  A perfect layout for jotting down a list of the things I love about summer right now.  Lists are such a fun way of marking the times...A couple years from now my priorities will have changed, and I am sure my summer favs will be different.

Stay tuned... more Bella Blvd projects will be posted soon!

a couple of projects

Last month at the Scrapbooking Studio, I used a few pieces from Pink Paislee's London Market line to make a card and a tiny acrylic mini album.

Up first is my card:

And here is the mini album.  It is always a bit of a challenge when you have pages that are see through. But it is fun trying to cover the back of the page... sort of like a puzzle!

Here are a couple of close up pictures of some details...

cakewalk

Last night I started a mini album for Piper's birthday.  I have been hoarding October Afternoon's Cakewalk line for this exact occasion and I was so excited to finally use it.  Worked away at the Scrapbooking Studio's Friday night crop.  Got just a few pages done, but it's a start!

three

September 1st is a birthday in our house.  Piper turned 3!  She was quite pleased to have a day that was all about her... so I thought I would throw in the potty training on that day for good measure.  There were some tears involved, but for the most part, I think we are in the clear.

Since we are in neck deep with Dora, I used my crafty skills and made my own Dora cake.

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit and there was lots of reading, and playing, and chatting...

The boys were just as excited for her to open her presents...

And the cake was a hit (aside from the candles with fire!).

We had a bunch of rain over the long weekend from that hurricane Isaac, but the holiday Monday was a perfect pool day!  All in all it was a great birthday and labor day weekend.
