on the go

Hello...

I made this "on the go" mini album to hold some of my instagram pics from the summer.  I love, love the Crate Paper Storyteller line and had a lot of fun using all the little tags and bits and pieces that matched.   I used my Cameo to make the days of the week tabs and a little pocket for each day.  More pictures of the inside to come soon.

matchbook gift card holder

Good morning... today I am posting another project I made for the Scrapbooking Studio.  Again, here I used Echo Park's Paradise Beach line.  While searching through all the Silhouette Cameo designs, I came across this cute matchbook card.

When you open up the matchbook, it has a little pocket to slip a card in.

It is the perfect size to hold a gift card as well.

This is a great little way to make an easy teacher gift, or any type of thank you card that you would like to include a gift card.

crab watching

I love this series of pictures of Andy and kids watching for crabs on the beach.  They were so sure they were going to be catch one... but they were just too fast.  I used a couple of papers from Echo Park's Paradise Beach collection to make this weaved grid.  Then just trimmed the ends.

You can find this line of paper and embellishments at the Scrapbooking Studio.

a great picnic idea

A little while ago I saw this idea on the silhouette blog.  It is an altered library pocket, turned in to a cutlery holder.  What a great way to set up a picnic or outdoor party.  Guests can grab one and you, as a busy host, know that they have everything they will need to enjoy their meal!  The best part is you can use whatever paper fits your theme!  My sample uses Pebbles Let Freedom Ring line again...cute for a fourth of July party.  Stop by the Scrapbooking Studio to pick up some paper and try it for your next party.

red, white and blue

Well, the kids are back in school and I am finding that I have a bit more time on my hands... hopefully that means more blog updates!  I also decided it was time for a fresh look for this blog, but didn't know where to start!  I asked the dear Megan Klauer for some help and I am so please with what she came up with.

So anyway, here is a layout I made for the Scrapbooking Studio with the Pebbles' Let Freedom Ring line.  I used my cameo to cut out the polaroid frame.  The fabric stars are by Maya Road

I love the little stickers bits that look like bits of tape.

Will update again soon with some more recent projects.

i love buttons

Hello... today I am showing you a little mini album I made from My Mind's Eye Nostalgia collection.  I absolutely loved the button cards and vintage notion cards, so I cut out these cards from the embellishment sheet, then sorted through my stash of favorite buttons.  I then sewed and stuck these little treasures on the cards and they became the pages of my mini album.  I added a few more pages, my pictures and some embellies and my mini album was complete!  Hope you enjoy!  Stop by the Scrapbooking Studio to see this project and get your supplies to make one too.
